Clinton Savings Bank Announces the Appointment of Robert J. Paulhus, Jr. to the Board of Trustees for UMass Memorial Health

(CLINTON, Mass., January 24, 2024) – Clinton Savings Bank is pleased to announce the appointment Robert J. Paulhus, Jr., President & CEO, to the Board of Trustees for UMass Memorial Health for an eight-year term, which begins in March 2024.

Robert J. Paulhus, Jr.

A seasoned banking professional with almost 42 years of experience in the industry, Robert J. Paulhus, Jr., is the President & CEO of Clinton Savings Bank. Paulhus has been with Clinton Savings Bank since 1999. He was appointed Bank President in September 2008 and confirmed as CEO in February of 2009. Prior to being named to the top post, Paulhus was Executive Vice President and Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending at Clinton Savings Bank. He has also held management positions at First Massachusetts Bank, N.A. and at Shawmut Bank, N.A.

A community leader, Paulhus is the past treasurer for the Wachusett Chamber of Commerce and the 2008 recipient of their Chairman’s Award. In addition, he served as a past Treasurer of the Worcester Historical Museum and for WHEAT Community Services, Inc. Currently, Paulhus is the Treasurer and a Board Member of the Clinton Rotary Club, Chair of the UMass Memorial Health – HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital Board of Trustees and was honored with the Distinguished Service Award from the Dr. Franklin Perkins School in 2013.

Paulhus holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the College of the Holy Cross and participated in Clark University’s M.B.A. Program. He resides in Ashland, Mass., with his wife and daughter.
