Clinton Savings Bank Continues 175 Year Celebration
04/24/2026
CLINTON, MA – Clinton Savings Bank (CSB), one of Massachusetts’ oldest mutual community banks, proudly kicked off its 175th anniversary earlier this year with the unveiling of a special commemorative logo and demonstrating its unwavering commitment to the communities it serves. As part of the celebration, CSB invested in local financial literacy initiatives, contributing more than $20,000 in donations across the region. Highlights of the first quarter included a lively, community-wide trivia night bringing neighbors together for an evening of fun, with proceeds benefiting Clinton High School and Tahanto Regional High School. To honor its rich history, CSB also curated a unique display with the help of the Clinton Historical Society for the bank’s 200 Church Street branch, showcasing historical banking relics alongside items that reflect the heritage of the surrounding towns. Visitors are invited to step back in time and explore the Bank’s longstanding role in the community. Time capsules are also available at all CSB branch locations, where community members are invited to add a note or an item to mark this moment in history.
“On behalf of our organization, I want to extend my sincere gratitude to everyone who joined us in celebrating our 175th anniversary throughout the first quarter of the year,” said Mary T. Dean, President and CEO of Clinton Savings Bank. “Your participation, enthusiasm, and community spirit make this milestone truly meaningful and memorable. As we move into the second quarter, we are excited to build on that momentum through our “Hometown Pride” initiatives. These efforts are a wonderful opportunity to continue strengthening the connections that make our community so special.”
Hometown Pride
Clinton Savings Bank (CSB) is proud to celebrate the spirit of community this spring with an exciting lineup of local support and customer appreciation initiatives. As a thank you to its valued customers, CSB is also offering complimentary spring gifts, including a garden shovel and flower seeds perfect for getting your garden started this season. Gifts are available at all CSB branch locations while supplies last.
