175 Years of Community, Business & Connection

CLINTON, MA – (July 14, 2026) As part of its year-long celebration of 175 years of serving Central Massachusetts, Clinton Savings Bank (CSB) continued to invest in the communities it calls home throughout the second quarter of 2026, reinforcing its longstanding commitment to local families, businesses, and organizations.

During the second quarter, focused on our Hometown pride, CSB contributed more than $20,000 to local schools, youth sports programs, and community organizations across Central MA. As part of these efforts, the Bank awarded $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors at eight high schools serving the communities where CSB has branches, helping students pursue higher education and achieve their future goals.

The Bank also celebrated with customers by hosting a special outing to a Worcester Red Sox (WooSox) game, bringing together customers, friends, and their families for an evening of baseball and community connection.

These initiatives are part of CSB's year-long anniversary effort recognizing the people, organizations, and businesses that have helped shape the Bank's 175-year legacy.

"Celebrating 175 years isn't just about looking back, it's about recognizing the people who have made this milestone possible," said Mary T. Dean, President and CEO of Clinton Savings Bank. "For generations, our customers have trusted us with their banking needs, and our neighbors have welcomed us into their communities. We are incredibly grateful for that trust and support. Every scholarship we award, every youth team we sponsor, every local event we support, and every opportunity we have to bring people together is our way of saying thank you. We are grateful to be your community bank, and we look forward to serving this region for generations to come - we’re just getting started."

CSB's anniversary celebration will continue throughout the remainder of the year with additional community events, volunteer opportunities, customer appreciation, and charitable initiatives that honor the Bank's longstanding mission of helping local communities thrive.

175 Years of Local Impact

The celebration is far from over! As CSB continues its 175th anniversary celebration, the Bank is carrying its commitment to community into the third quarter by supporting local chambers of commerce, small businesses, Shop Local initiatives, and community fairs through volunteerism, sponsorships, and more than $23,000 in charitable giving.

There are even more opportunities for customers and community members to join in the fun throughout the summer and fall.

Be sure to visit us at several local events, including the Sterling Fair, Spirit of Shrewsbury and the return of the Town of Clinton's beloved Old Home Days celebration. We're especially excited to be part of this cherished community tradition once again, and we're planning some fun surprises and family-friendly activities you won't want to miss. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks!

Beginning July 20, CSB will kick off its 4th Annual Back-to-School Supply Drive in partnership with local radio station XLO. Customers, employees, and community members are invited to help local students start the school year off right by donating new school supplies at any Clinton Savings Bank branch. Together, we can help ensure area students have the tools they need for a successful school year. For a list of requested items and additional details, visit clintonsavings.com.
