Clinton Savings Bank Vice President Honored As 40 Under Forty Recipient

(CLINTON, Mass., August 26th, 2025) – Willliam Spencer, Vice President, Commercial Relationship Banker is being honored by the Worcester Business Journal (WBJ) as one of the well-deserved recipients of the 40 Under Forty Award.

WBJ’s Annual Forty Under 40 Awards is a celebration of rising young leaders from throughout the Central Massachusetts' business community that are successfully leading organizations. Mr. Spencer is part of a select class of upcoming business leaders who share a commitment to business success and personal growth, along with a passion to help strengthen the communities that they live and work in. They join the ranks of the 900+ business leaders in the Central Mass/MetroWest region that have earned this title since WBJ launched the annual program in 2000.

Mr. Spencer joined Clinton Savings Bank in 2023 from M&T Bank where he served as Vice President, Business Banking. Bill has been a lifelong member of the Clinton Community and brings experience and knowledge of commercial lending and relationship management to Clinton Savings Bank. He has held various commercial positions throughout his career and understands the value of working to build and maintain business relationships. Mr. Spencer graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Worcester State University as a business major. He completed formal credit training with a focus on C&I lending and credit management.  

In his personal time, Bill enjoys staying active and is an avid runner. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends. Bill volunteers with several local non-profit organizations and is a board member of the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce.
